It Begins with Brain

Gaining an understanding about early brain development is, to some extent, essential in order for us to make a significant impact on what and how we interact with children from the earliest moments of their lives.

FIRST 2000 DAYS
of child’s development affect a lifetime

The development of your child’s brain holds the key to his/her future. Brain growth can be positively influenced by stimulation at any point in life but the most effective times when it is growing at a rapid speed that is during First 6 years (2000 days)

The learning capabilities of humans continue for the rest of their lives but not at the peak intensity that is demonstrated in the early years. With this in mind, babies and toddlers need positive early learning experiences to help with their intellectual, social and emotional development since this lays the foundation for later success in the future.

Little Indigo Early Enrichment Program™ provides a great opportunity for you and your child to maximize the utilization of the critical brain development period!

Neurons

Brain SynapseNeurons are the functioning core of the brain. All of us are born with as many neurons as stars in the Milky Way galaxy. But these core cells have not yet established a pattern of wiring between themselves — they have not yet made their connections (synapses).

Now, thanks to the advancements in science and technology, we know that early experiences impact the development of the brain and influence the specific ways in which the circuits (synapses) of the brain become “wired”.

A baby’s brain is always in a state of work-in-progress. The outside world constantly shapes its development through experiences that a child senses – vision, hearing, smell, touch and taste.
